Mrs. Bessie Elliott

It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Mrs. Bessie Elliott, 86, of 15 John Elliott Ln, Linden, on Wednesday, April 09, 2025.

Mrs. Bessie leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter- Debra Currie of Linden, NC; one son Larry Elliott of Linden, NC; three bonus children- Levon Kelly of Lillington, NC, Patricia Kelly Meza of Lillington, NC and Peggy Murphy (Arma) of Broadway, NC; one daughter-in-law-  Annie Ruth Harris; one God daughter- Tiffany Elliott; and ne God-son- Aaron Woods; three sisters- Pearlie Ray of Lillington, NC, Kathleen Cameron of Lillington, NC and Edna Cameron of Fayetteville, NC; one brother- Neil (Josette) of Lillington, NC; nine sisters-in-law- Brenda Hart, Avenelle Surles, Glenda Elliott, Mary Elliott, Shirly Cameron, Nora Currie, Zillar Elliott, Ethel Mae Currie and  Katie Elliott; four brothers-in-law-  Willie Elliott, Vernon Elliott (Teresa), David Elliott (Elaine), and Charles Henry Elliott; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; nineteen great- great- grandchildren; nine bonus grandchildren; two special nieces- Tayriah and T’asia Elliott and Alicia Mitchell, whom she affectionately called her granddaughter; special friends- Jeanette McLean and Helen Hicks; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held Victory Tabernacle Church, Lillington, Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 12PM- 12:55PM.

Celebration of Life will follow @ 1PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity. 

Interment will follow in the Refuge Tabernacle Memorial Gardens, Lillington.
