It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Mrs. Betty Covington, 91, of 711 Susan Tart Rd., Dunn, on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

Mrs. Betty leaves to cherish her memories, her son- John Ellis Covington (Judy Ann) of Dunn, NC; siblings- Charles Williams, Martha “Sue” Wiley, and Maxine Anderson, all of Dunn, NC; 11 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; special caregiver- granddaughter- Christel Edwards; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home Chapel- Dunn, Sunday, February2, 2025, from 1PM-1:55PM.

Celebration of Life will follow @ 2PM, following the guidelines of the chapel for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
