Mrs. Betty L. McLean

Mrs. Betty McLean, 75, of 1400 S. 4th St., Lillington, made her transition to Glory, January 30, 2024.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two sons- James Edward Marsh (Sharon) and Apostle Curtis Lee Marsh of Lillington, NC two daughters - Gerlinda McLean of Bunnlevel, Ebony McDonald of Lillington; mother- Ethel Mae Matthews Currie (Charles); three sisters- Rosa Parks (Charles) of Erwin, NC, Mary J. Matthews and Paula McLean Wilson (James) of Sanford, NC; three brother- Larry Matthews (Shirley), Joseph Matthews (Carol) of Lillington, NC and Jeffery McLean (Kalisha) of Sanford, NC; one aunt- Carolyn Wilkins of Vass, NC; 12 grandchildren- Quartisa Rena and Dwayne Sawyer of Fuquay-Varina NC, Shaquilla Johnson of Autryville, NC, Shontae Johnson of Fayetteville, NC, Everette Marsh of Atlanta, GA, Tyrone Marsh of Lillington, NC, Elijah and Macie Morrison Fuquay-Varina, NC, Treyvon and Andrea Johnson of Clarksville, TN, Dexter and Tonya Stokes of Erwin NC, Solomon and Sharon Ledbetter of Lillington NC, Raven Massey of Angier NC and Kim Massey of Angier, NC; and 25 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives, church members and community leaders.

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home- Angier, Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 12PM-5PM. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.

Funeral Service will be held at Cape Fear Conference A, Erwin, Sunday, February 4, 2024 @ 1PM, following the guidelines of the facility for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Matthews Family Cemetery, 3225 Neills Creek Rd, Lillington, NC 27546.
