It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Doris Olds, 81, of 1009 N. Magnolia Ave., Dunn, on Friday, April 18, 2025.
Mrs. Doris leaves to cherish her memories, three daughters- Donnette Olds Sturdivant (Dexter) of Georgia, Dr. Tracie Olds Lewis of High Point, NC, and Tonya Olds Venable of Raleigh, NC; two sisters- Jannie English, of Philadelphia, PA and Jeannette Butler (Robert, a special brother-in-law) of Clinton, NC; four sisters-in-law, Virginia Olds-Brown of Dunn, NC, Linda Olds of Snow Hill, NC, Brenda Olds of Greensboro, NC, and Lula Olds of Danville, VA; brother-in-law- Marriott Olds of Fayetteville, NC; six grandchildren- Aaron, Evan, and Morgan (Donnette), Madison (Tracie), Jordan and Jacob (Tonya); sixteen nieces and nephews- Pamela, Tony, Darnell, Weldon, Lawrence, Jr., Kelvin, Angela, Lisa, Marriott Jr., Jeffrey, Kenneth Jr., Brian, Michael, Marcus, Maurice, special niece- Phyllis and her husband, Bill; special cousin and friend, Janice Thompson, who lovingly cared for her during her illness; and a host of great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held at McNeill Memorial Baptist Church, 607 S Magnolia, Dunn, Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 5PM-7PM. Family will be present 6PM-7PM.
Celebration of Life will be held at Cape Fear Conference A, Erwin, Friday, April 25, 2025 @ 11AM, following the guidelines of the facility for entrance and capacity.
Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
