Mrs. Joyce (Johnson) Sessoms

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Joyce Johnson Sessoms, 88, of 229 West Church Street, Rose Hill, on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

Joyce leaves to cherish her memories, son- Dr. Rodney (Dr. Kimberly) K. Sessoms; daughter- Karen (Ernie) E. Sessoms Torian; grandchildren- Dr. Krysten (Steve) F. Sessoms; Jonathan E. Torian, Kameryn H. Sessoms and Karmyn J. Sessoms; sister- (best friend and devoted caregiver) Z. Barbara Johnson; sister-in-law Carnell D. Sessoms Jones; nephew- Carl E. Sessoms; niece- Kerrine (Roy) Sessoms Martin; 1st cousins- Jessie Dafford Fitch, Della (Eric) Dafford Michaux and Dallas L. Dafford, Sr.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Dunn, Friday, December 13, 2024 @ 12PM, following the guidelines of the chapel for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the First Congregational Church Cemetery, Dudley, Sunday, December 15, 2024, @ 10AM..
