Mrs. Letha Mae Draughon

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Letha Mae Draughon, 93, of 3006 Parliament Place, Apex, formerly of Autryville, on Monday, August 5, 2024.

The family will receive friends at the home of Albert "Billy" and Ada Beatty, 6089 NC 210E, Harrells, Friday and Saturday,
from 4PM-7PM.

Mrs. Letha leaves to cherish her memories, her son- Hubert Draughon, Salemburg, NC; two daughters- Ada D. Beatty (Al), of Harrells, NC and Dorothy D. Rainey (Charles), of Apex, NC; four grandchildren- Sonya V. Beatty, Rolesville, NC, Lynetta “Lynn” Washington (Billy), Oak Ridge, NC, Julia Washington (Charles, “CJ”), Rolesville, NC, and Eric Rainey, Raleigh, NC; three great-grandchildren- Lauryn Washington, Nathan and Taylor Washington; one daughter-in-law- Leola Draughon, Autryville, NC; three sisters- Rena Brown and Nettie McIntyre, Trenton, NJ and Mary Bailey, Fayetteville, NC; one brother- Henry Franklin “Jimmy” Jacobs (Ann) Trenton, NJ; one aunt- Bonnie McNatt, Hemingway, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  

Public viewing will be held at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, Autryville, Sunday, August 11, 2024, from 2PM-2:55PM.

Funeral Service will follow @ 3PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Elizabeth MBC Cemetery, Autryville.
