Mrs. Letha “Retta” Williams

Mrs. Letha “Retta” Williams, 93, of Wilmington, NC passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

***The family will receive family and friends at the residence of Ms. Katie Thomas, 695 Mt. Olive Drive, Newton Grove, NC.***

Retta leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and independence that will forever be cherished by those who knew her. She leaves to cherish her memories, children- Patricia Hill of home, Letha Burt of High Point, NC, Linda Sue Burt of Greensboro, NC; special granddaughter/ daughter- Vanessa Best of Greensboro, NC; two sisters- Hartenese Campbell of New York and Katie Thomas of Newton Grove, NC; two brothers- Willie Williams of Dudley, NC and Reverend Robert Williams of Spring Valley, NY; 22 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at House of Praise Church, 89 Darden Rd, Newton Grove, Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 12PM-12:55PM. Family will be present 12:30-12:55PM.

Funeral Service will follow @ 1PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
