Mrs. Lucy McLean Obituary
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Lucy T. Overby McLean, 91, of 2203 Matthews Road, Lillington, on July 13, 2024.
Lucy leaves to cherish her precious memories, children- Dr. Jeanette O. Keyes (Kenneth) of Waukegan, IL, Dorothy O. Williams (Anthony) of Lillington, NC and Dion T. Overby of Lillington, NC; step children- Michael McLean (Karen), Rueben McLean (Eva), David McLean, Henry McLean (Jessica), Doris Bates (Charles), Rebecca Barber (William), and Ruth Chatman (Elijah); sister- Lilly Rhymes; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a host of foster children, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home- Angier, Friday, July 19, 2024, from 1PM-5PM.
Funeral Service will be held at Cutts Chapel FWB Church, Saturday, July 20, 2024 @ 11AM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.
The McLean Family will receive family and friends at the home of Ms. Dorothy Williams, 2203 Matthews Road, Lillington, NC on Thursday, July 18th from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday, July 19th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
Interment will follow in the Angier Community Cemetery, Angier, NC.
