We are saddened to announce that Mrs. Mary E. Roper Williams, 95, of 9448 Hillsboro Street, Linden, passed away July 10, 2024.
Her survivors include: sons - Claude Williams, Jr. (Georgianna) of Linden, and Glenn Williams of Fayetteville; seven grandchildren - Olivia Perry (Freddy), Chrisandra Chance (Christopher), Tonya McKoy, Sharon Williams, Angelene Rainey (John), Keturah Raabe (Bill), and Aqueelah Roberson; seven great grandchildren, five great, great grandchilden, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing and visitation will be the Cumberland Union Free Will Baptist Church, Linden, Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 5PM - 7PM., following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity. At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of John and Angelene Rainey, 523 Anona Drive, Fayetteville, daily from 1PM - 7PM.
The Celebration of Life Service will be at the Cape Fear Conference A Headquarters Facility, Erwin, Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 1PM., following the guidelines of the facility for entrance and capacity. Interment will follow in the Cumberland Union Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Linden.
