Mrs. Patricia Taylor

It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Mrs. Patricia Taylor, 67, of 1314 Claymore Dr, Garner, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

Born in Robeson County, she was the daughter of the late Dan and Louise Wallace. Patricia was known for her radiant smile, kind heart, and deep love for family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five of her siblings Ronnie Wallace, Elie “Rick” McCoy, Jr., Larry Wallace, Morris Blackmon, Jackie Thomas, and Bessie Graham.

She shared over 19 years of marriage with her devoted husband, Mr. William Taylor, a union rooted in love and laughter.

She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Brenda Burton of Washington, D.C.; and Audrey Urum of Fuquay-Varina, NC.

Patricia was a loving mother to her children: Annie “Marie” (Danavan), Laton “Tankey,” and Courtney.

She was a proud grandmother to Samantha “Khakmah,” Latonya “TeeLee,” James (Taylor), Shanelle, Laytavion, Quimaye, Brianna, Brishawn, Kemaury, Keon, Jasmine, Serenity “Ren”, Ja’Mailya “Nunnie”, and Chasity “Imani”.

She was a devoted great-grandmother to Liberty “Rakham,” Aaron “Nankey,” Justice "Jr", Jakobi "Koko", Asher, Benjamin "Ben", Laytavion Jr., Lotus, and August. She leaves her memory to a host of nieces, nephews and lives touched by her kindness.

Patricia served faithfully for over 20 years as Head Custodian at Fuquay-Varina High School, where she touched the lives of countless students, teachers, and staff through her encouragement, hard work, and joyful spirit. She was a faithful member of Cutts Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Angier, North Carolina, Patricia loved attending worship, singing praises in the choir, and uplifting others through prayer and kindness.

Patricia will forever be remembered as a Strong Queen who fought courageously against cancer, facing every challenge with dignity, faith, and love. Her strength, warmth, and unwavering faith in the Most High will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.

Public Viewing will be held will be held at Dafford Funeral Home, Angier, Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 1PM-5PM and Cape Fear Conference A, Erwin, on Sunday, October 26,2025, from 1:30 PM - 2:25 PM.

Celebration of Life will follow @ 2:30PM, following the guidelines of the facility for entrance and capacity.

Interment will be at the Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh, Thursday October 30, 2025, 2PM.
