Mrs. Robin Elliott Obituary

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Robin Elliott, 64, of 1015 Landau Rd., Fayetteville, on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.  She was the daughter of David and Brenda McDowell.

She accepted Christ as her personal savior at the age of 16, and served God faithfully for 48 years.  Minister Robin joined Lou Chapel Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Berline Kelly, where she served for 22 years.  After joining Lou Chapel, she met the love of her life, Sam Elliott, and to their union of 44 years they had 2 daughters, Stacey and Shelley.

As she went further in her ministry, she was the co-founder of Victory in Praise Ministries of Tar Heel, where she served as Co-Pastor, alongside her husband, Pastor Sam, for 15 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory:  her husband, Sam;  two daughters - Stacey Blackwell (Travis) and Shelley Raymond (Jean); bonus children, Sam Jr. and Machelle Wiggins; godson, Sean Elliott; parents - David and Brenda McDowell; brother - David McDowell, Jr. (Zandra); grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Viewing will be at the Lou Chapel Church, Spring Lake, Monday, January 20, 2025 from 12Noon - 12:55PM.  The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1PM., following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.  Interment will follow in the Lou Chapel Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
