Mrs. Sandra Faye Gilbert

It is with heartfelt sympathy that we announce the passing of Mrs. Sandra Faye Gilbert, 77, of 113 Barnes Dr., Erwin, on Monday, March 31, 2025.

Mrs. Sandra leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters- Sharon Campbell (Ricky), Veronica Shaw (Anthony), and Ruby Cassell (Barry); grandchildren- Jonathan Gilbert (Rose), Ariel Campbell, Arianna Campbell, Kendra Gilbert, Randi Shaw, Janiqua Gilbert, CharLee Gilbert, Danielle Cassell and Barry Cassell, Jr.; great- grandchildren- MaKayla Gilbert, Ava Campbell, Jeremiah Gilbert, Ja’Mya Gilbert, Dominque Lincoln, Malachi Carvin, Riah Boyer, Junie Boyer, Joseph Taylor, Justice Taylor, Jabree Taylor, and Michelle Cassell; uncle- Joe Blue of Dunn, NC; brothers-n-law- Carson Gilbert (Pauline) of Richmond, VA, and Grady Petty of Sanford, NC; sisters-n- law- Rosa Gilbert of New Haven, CT and Mary Gilbert of Baltimore, MD; nephews- Grady Petty, Jr (Samara) and James Harrington; nieces- Ernestine Cole (Stacey), Keisha Harrington and Stephanie Harrington; bonus son- Willie Dingle (Deidra); special friend- Charles Nelson (Chuck) of Fayetteville, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, Monday, April 7, 2025, from 1PM-7PM. Family will be present from 6PM-7PM.

Graveside Service will be held at Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn, on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 @ 11AM, following the guidelines of the Funeral Director and Staff for entrance and capacity.
