Mrs. Willie Mae (Lassiter) McArthur

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Willie Mae McArthur, 51, of 301 Norrington Rd, Lillington, passed on Monday, August 5, 2024.

The family will receive friends, daily from 12PM-6PM, starting Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

She was the daughter of Willie James Scurlock, Sr. and Mildred Thomas.

Mrs. Willie leaves to cherish her memories, husband- Cornelius McArthur of Lillington, NC; two daughters- Nakeshia Montgomery, of Erwin, NC and Trica Ann Montgomery, of Lillington, NC; one granddaughter- Erica Aubry Walker, of Erwin, NC; seven siblings- Michael Lassiter, of Angier, NC, Patricia Jones (Willie) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Willie Lassiter (Lola), of Lillington, NC, Cora Houston, of Raleigh, NC, Mary Tearry, of Lillington, NC, Willie James Scurlock, Jr., of Raleigh, NC, and Largirtha Graham-Brown (Larry), of Red Springs, NC; four uncles- Bobby Montgomery (Sabrina), of Lillington, NC, Donnie Montgomery (Francis), of Angier, NC, Ray Lockamy (Bernice), of Smithfield, NC, and Alexander Lockamy (Lucille), of Bunnlevel, NC; one aunt- Francine Montgomery, of Angier, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home, Angier, Friday, August 9, 2024, from 1PM-5PM.

Funeral Services will be held at Coats Church of God of Prophecy, Coats, Saturday, August 10, 2024 @1PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.
