Ms. Janie McKay

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Ms. Janie McKay, 78, of 118 Laura Ln, Apt A, Lillington, passed on Friday, August 16, 2024.

Ms. Janie leaves to cherish her memories, her children- Angela Schaeffer of the home, and Kenneth (Sylvia) McKoy of Birmingham, Alabama; two grandsons- Coshiani D McKoy of Greensboro, NC and Barry Moack of Birmingham, AL; two sisters- Dorothy McKoy of Dunn, NC and Mary Jean McPherson of Erwin, NC; special daughter- Patricia (Sean) Brannon of MD; one niece- Amie (Reggie) White); two nephews- Theodore (Willie Mae) McKoy and Michael McKoy from Dunn, NC; three great nieces; eight great-great nieces; two great-great-great nephews; 14 great-great-great nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home Chapel- Angier, Sunday, August 25, 2024, from 12:30PM-12:55PM.

Funeral Service will follow @ 1PM, following the guidelines of the chapel for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
