Ms. Ruth McDougald

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Ruth McDougald, 80, of 860 Sanderfer Road, Bunnlevel, NC on Monday, February 10, 2025.

Ms. Ruth leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters- Dora McLean and Kimberly (Wayne) Johnson; grandsons she raised as her own- Nigel McDougald, Remus McDougald, Roberto (Christie) McDougald; grandchildren- Stanley McDougald, Fredricka McDougald, Christopher, Juwan, Kiana and Amir Johnson, Roberto Jr, Reyna and Remiel McDougald; God-children she raised- Nick McDougald, Cheryl Bryant (Raibeon, Angel, James), Antonio (Latoshia) McIver, Janessa Ferguson (Robert & Antonio) and Martell Golden; sisters- Flora Elliott, Dorothy Jenkins, Mary Crosby and Kathy (Leverne) Elliott; brother- Lee Crosby; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home- Dunn, Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 1PM-5PM.

Celebration of Life will be held at Andrews Chapel AMEZ Church, Bunnlevel, Monday, February 17, 2025 @ 1PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the McLean Cemetery, Bunnlevel.
