Overseer Ella Covington

Overseer Ella Covington, 76, of 610 S. Massey Street, Selma, passed away September 26, 2023. 

Overseer leaves to cherish her memories, husband- Bishop Ernest L. Covington, of the home; two sons-  Troy Covington (Yolanda), of Selma, NC and Sherwood Covington (Angela), of Four Oaks, NC; one daughter- Belinda Covington, of Four Oaks, NC; eight grandchildren- Dominique Covington, Trey Covington, Curtis Covington, Reginald Covington, Gary D Eason (Mary), Shannon Eason, Logan Covington and Sherkira Covington; one daughter-n- law- Vernessa Covington; three sisters- Pastor Doris McLean, Teacher Janice Allen (Lawrence) and Pastor Betty Lee; three special daughters- Nellie Ward Watson, Donna Mattocks, and Faye Ray; one fur baby, Bailey; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 

Public viewing will be held at Western Assembly DOC, Newton Grove, Sunday, October 1, 2023, from 11AM-11:55AM.

Funeral Service will follow @ 12PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
