Peggy Ann McCrimmon

Ms. Peggy Ann McCrimmon, 64, of 8688 Harnett-Dunn Highway, Dunn, passed away April 17, 2021. Peggy dedicated 30 years of service to the state of North Carolina, having worked with the NC Department of Corrections women prison and later with the department of probation and parole in Sampson County. She leaves to cherish her memories: her children - Jessica  Bryant Bell of Charlotte, Jason Bryant of Newton Grove; grandchildren - Jayden, Jaziah Bell of Charlotte, JaTarrah Byrant of Newton Grove; mother - Estella Williams of Dunn; sisters - Joyce Randall, Vicky Williams, both of Dunn; brothers - Cleo Jr. (Doris) of Maryland, Otha Jerrel (Sennie) of Dunn, Donald (Shelia) of Clinton, Michael of Dunn; 4 nephews and 4 nieces.

The public viewing will be Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm with no more than 10 individuals inside at one time. Masks are required and practice social distancing.

The funeral service will be conducted Sunday, April 25, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Western Assembly Disciples of Christ, Newton Grove, with masks required and following the facility’s guidelines for entrance, capacity, and social distancing.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Dunn.
