Reginald James

Mr. Reginald  James, 61, of 250 Chinaberry Lane, Angier, passed away October 3, 2022. The family will receive friends at the home, 250 Chinaberry Lane, Angier, from 3PM- 7:30PM.

Reginald was preceded in death by his parents- the late Rachel James Holiday and Henry A. Talley.

Reginald attended North Harnett School , Angier, NC and Harnett Central  High School where he graduated in 1979. He attended True Holiness Church in Angier, North Carolina and was ordained as a Deacon in 2004 by the late Bishop Henry Williams. Reginald obtained two college degrees from Liberty University, Associates Degree in Religion and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.

Reginald leaves to cherish his memories his wife- Mary M. James; eight children- Shameka (Jonathan) Howard of Savannah, GA,  Martie Mclean of Acworth, GA, Ebony Staton of Raleigh, NC,  Shaconna Talton of Greensboro, NC, Brice McNeill of Bunnlevel, NC,  Regina James of Raleigh, NC,  Jessica Whitaker of Coats, NC  and James  Jones of Cartersville, GA;  three sisters-  Cynthia Talley- Darby of New York, Gail Talley of Bronx, NY, and Tyshawn Talley- Rushing of New Haven, CT; twenty- eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;  and a host of nieces, relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at True Holiness Church, Angier, Saturday, October 8, 2022 @ 2PM, following the guidelines of the church for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Angier Community  Cemetery, Angier.
