Robert Louis Cherry

Mr. Robert Louis Cherry, 80, of 201 Jackson Road, Dunn, passed away November 12, 2020.  He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted wife - Pearl C. Cherry; children - Linda Moore (Coley) of Washington, Deborah Wilkins (Ricky) of Chesapeake, VA, Tammy Wilson (Russell) of Greenville, Desiree Jackson of Dunn, Anthony Cherry of Florida, Shanell Jackson Cherry, of Dunn, Charice Jackson Cherry of Bronx, NY, Donte' Jackson Cherry of Wilmington, Michael Cherry of the home; one special son - Matthew Manning of Dunn; sister - Carolyn Carey of Lewinston; brothers - James Cherry (Patricia), George Powell (Annie), Willie Powell, Sr. (Maude) all of New York; 13 grandchildren - 16 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A viewing will be Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm with no more than 10 individuals inside at one time. Masks are required and practice social distancing.

The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Dunn, with no more than 50 people present. Masks are required and practice social distancing.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
