Rosa M. Crowell

Ms. Rosa M. Crowell, 67, of 703 South Magnolia Avenue, Dunn, passed away June 8, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth Blue and Rosetta Surles Blue. She attended and graduated from Dunn High School in 1972. After graduation, she worked for Morganite, Inc. in Dunn for 30 plus years until retirement.

She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter - Catrise Crowell; sons - Demars Crowell (Gwen) and Montrea Crowell, all of Dunn; sisters - Drusilla McMillan, Bertha McLean (Bobby Ray) of Dunn, and Janice Stevens (Mike) of Smithfield; brothers - Jerry Blue (Phyllis) and Ricky Blue (Sheila) of Dunn;  eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; aunt - Lucille McNeill of Dunn; uncles - Lloyd Surles (Hilda) and Floyd Surles of Dunn; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including special friends - Susan Blue, Shirley Blackmon, Emily Draughon and Lee.

The public viewing will be Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm. Masks are required to enter.

The graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
