Sharon McKoy

Ms. Sharon McKoy, 54, of 75  Wolf Creek  Lane, Lillington, passed away June 5, 2022.  She was the daughter of the late Alice Johnson and Kelly Boyd Sanders.  The family will receive friends at the home of her aunt - Jennifer Johnson, 103 West N Street, Erwin.

Sharon graduated from Triton High in 1987. She furthered her education by attending Central Carolina Community College in Lillington, NC, where she received her certificate of Cosmetology.

She is survived by her three sons- Devin McKoy of Raleigh, NC, Courtney McKoy of Charleston, NC, and Casey McKoy of Lillington, NC; three aunts- Annie McNair of Suitland, MD, Barbara Johnson (John) of Goldsboro, NC and Jennifer Johnson of Erwin, NC; two uncles- James Johnson (Sharon) of Jacksonville, FL and Michel Johnson of Harrisburg, NC; and other relatives and friends.

The public viewing will be Saturday, June 18, 2022 @ the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 1PM - 5PM. Family members will be present from 4PM - 5PM.  Masks are required to enter.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 19, 2022 @ 1PM @ the Cape Fear Conference A Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin, following the facility's guidelines for entrance and capacity.  Burial will follow in the Riverside Community Cemetery, Erwin.
