Shawn Wilkins

Mr. Shawn Wilkins, 30, of 120 Allen Drive, Erwin, passed away January 24, 2020. 

He leaves to cherish his memories: two outgoing sons - Chase Amir Wilkins and Cameron Isaiah Wilkins; his mother and stepfather - Doris and Frederick Grady; three brothers - Brion Keith McNeill of Brooklyn, New York, Timothy Ray Wilkins (Kisha) of Charlotte, and Robert E. Harris (Deanna) of Fairview, GA; three sisters - Paulette Owens of Raleigh, Carmen Vick (Tim) of Wilson, and Donna Owens of Raleigh; one god brother - Demetrius Chance of Erwin; one nephew - Timothy Wilkins, Jr. of Hope Mills; one God Daughter - Kaylan Chance of Fayetteville; a special cousin/godmother - Christine McNeill of Erwin; six aunts - Alice McNeill of Lillington, Joyce McNeill of Erwin, Cindy White (Rev. Dr. J.C. White) Linda Simons (Warren) of Fayetteville, Frances Blue, Dunn, and Norrine Johnson (Jack) of Coats; five uncles - Bobby McNeill (Callie), Michael McNeill of Erwin, Travis McLean of Lillington, Eric Wilkins (Annette) Burlington, New Jersey and Quether Wilkins of Winston-Salem; two great aunts - Sue Matthews and Bertha McNeill of Erwin; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The public viewing will be Friday, January 31, 2020 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn.

The visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 12 Noon - 1:00 pm with the family present from 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin.

The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
