Mr. Stanley Brown, 92, of 1833 Butler Road, Salemburg, passed away March 1, 2021. Stanley leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of seventy-three (73) years - Pauline Brown; to this union they have five children - Jacqueline Brown Butler of the home, Harry Stanley Brown Jr., Sherry Brown Thurman (Robert) of Autryville, Angela Faye Brown of the home, and Gail Brown Royal (Alonza) of Autryville; a special niece - Mary Singleton of Washington, DC; a honorary daughter - Eunice Davis of Fayetteville; sister - Evelyn B. Jones of High Point; two sister in-laws - Susan “Elrease” Autry (Elliot), Lydia Gibson (John) both of Autryville; two brother in-laws - R.C. Williams of Autryville, Bobby R. Williams (Mary) of Salemburg; one brother in-law - Charlie “Millard” Autry of Autryville; six grandchildren - Pamela Butler Owens (Curtis), Gary Stanley Butler, Brandon Lewis Thurman (Kimberly), Sharon Faith Brown, Aaron Lewis Thurman, Caitlin Paulina Royal; eight great-grandchildren - Ciera Shante Robinson, Shaquerra Eyvette Woodson, Curtis Devone Owens Jr., Garrett Butler, Cameron Bryce Owens, Caleb Ryan Owens, Tylsia Jackson, Lorelei Elise Thurman; five great-great-grandchildren - Nevaeh Hawley, Ayden Amerson, Kendrick McMillan, Carmen McMillan, Milena Butler, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The public viewing will be Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm, with no more than 10 individuals inside at one time. Masks are required and practice social distancing.
The graveside service will be conducted Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Autryville, with no more than 50 people present. Masks are required and practice social distancing.
