TSgt Antoine Lamar Simmons

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of TSgt Antoine Simmons, 40, of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ, on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

The family will receive friends and family at 135 Swan Ln, Angier, from 2PM-7PM, daily.

Funeral services for TSgt Simmons will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Nehemiah Building Ministries in Dunn, NC. 

Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Dunn, with Military Honors.

Antoine will forever be loved and always missed by his wife of nine years Terryn and their two beautiful boys Amir Lamar and Amari Lamar all of their home in Fort Dix, New Jersey. His mother Dorothy Davis and his only sibling, his sister Tondala Kargbo both of Mableton, Georgia. His family in love: mother and fathers in love James and Carla Peterkin of Angier, NC and Terrance McNeill of Durham, NC. Sisters in love, Adriana Reid (Fred) of Durham, NC and Joi Peterkin of Charlotte, NC. Brothers in love, James Peterkin of Seattle, Washington and Montravious Ferguson (Jasmine) of Frankfort; and a host of other relatives and friends.
