Thomas E. Staton Obituary
Mr. Thomas Earl Staton, 60, of 711 Stockyard Road, Lillington, passed away September 19, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 38 years - Angela Staton of the home; six children - Terrance Byrd (Deborah), Shawanna Byrd (Arthur), Draquan Laday, Antonio Staton, Brittany Staton, and Thomas Earl Staton, Jr.; mother - Mary M. Staton; five sisters - Mary McKoy, Thelma McLean (Donald), Jo Ann Staton, Bonita Staton (Phillip), and Latoshia McIver (Antonio); one brother - Antonio Staton; eight grandchildren; three special daughters - Toya, Taylor, and Yasmine; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The viewing will be Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 12 Noon - 5:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home, Angier. Masks are required to enter.
The funeral service will be conducted Friday, September 24, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin, with masks required and following the facility's guidelines for entrance, capacity, and social distancing.
Burial, with military honors, will follow in the McLean Cemetery, Bunnlevel.
