William Thompson

Mr. William Thompson, 67, 813 East Johnson Street, Dunn, passed away June 3, 2021. The family will receive friends at the home of Stefanie Thompson, 310 Thondale Drive, Dunn, and please adhere to all safety precautions. He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughters - Stefanie Thompson of Dunn, Ronelle Thompson of Benson; sons - William J. Thompson, Jr. of Monroe, Pierre Thompson of Benson, Andregus Thompson (Victoria) of Hawaii; sisters - Ollie Holliday of Detroit, Michigan, Evelyn Monds of Dunn; brother - Johnny L. Thompson (Linda) of Spring Lake; grandchildren - Jasmine Thompson of Spring Lake, Jakarius Thompson of Dunn, TyQuandre Thompson of Angier, Shakobe, Jamari Thompson both of Benson, Katelyn, Darius, Riley Thompson of South Carolina, Calliah of Monroe, Zymere, Majesty, Romance Thompson all of Hawaii; one great grandchild - Aiden Thompson of Angier; a special friend - Gloria Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The public viewing will be Friday, June 11, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Masks are required to enter.

The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin, with masks required and following the facility's guidelines for entrance, capacity, and social distancing.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
