Katie Travis Obituary

Ms. Katie Marie Travis, 78, of 100 Gum Street, Dunn, passed away March 6, 2021. She was born Katie Marie Herring to the late James Herring and Odessa Murphy in Sampson County. She graduated from Harnett High School and attended Fayetteville State University. She was a devout Christian and a member of Gospel Tabernacle in Dunn.

She leaves behind two loving daughters - Pamela Dais of Stamford, Ct, and Nichole Travis-Roache of Columbia, SC.; two sisters and three brothers; nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren, and a host of cousins.

There are no formal services planned. Family and friends are welcomed to leave their condolences on the tribute wall.
