Willie McNeil Obituary
Mr. Willie McNeil, 78, of 6773 Bailey Lake Road, Fayetteville, passed away February 28, 2021. He was the son of the late Lashley Alexander and Ruby McNeill of Fayetteville. He was educated in the Cumberland County School System. He was a member of New Bethel A.M.E. Zion Church where he served by maintaining the church cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memories: wife - Marie McNeil; children - Daphine Pridgen of Four Oaks, and Willie McNeil, Jr. (Cynthia) of Charlotte; sisters - Luegusta Whitfield, Lee Ella Patterson (Samuel), Mildred Packer; brother - Henry McNeill, all of Fayetteville; five grandchildren, one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted Monday, March 8, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the New Bethel A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery, 6967 Amarillo Drive, Fayetteville.
