Della Powell Obituary
Mrs. Della Mae Powell, 94, of 211 Mt. Olive Church Rd., Lillington, passed away November 7, 2019. She was the daughter of the late James Madison McKoy and Sadie Byrd Armstrong McKoy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Powell.
Survivors: daughter - Annie Marie Smith; two granddaughters - Cheryl Jean Smith Owens and Felicia Lee Smith both of Queens, NY; one great grandson - Jason Gregory Owens of Queens, NY; sister - Mrs. Flora Jane McKoy Taylor of Lillington; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be at the Dafford Funeral Home, Angier, Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
The funeral service will be conducted Friday, November 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, 579 Mt. Olive Church Road, Lillington.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lillington.
