Eunice Matthews

Mrs. Eunice Matthews, 84, of 2058 E. Cornelius-Harnett Blvd., Lillington, passed away July 22, 2019.

Survivors: sons - Kenneth Matthews (Patricia) of New Bern and Tommy Matthews (Melanie) of Moncks Corner, SC; daughters - Gennevie Bryant of the home, Sharon Harrington of Lillington and Genine Hardin (Virgil) of Bunnlevel; sister - Beulah McNeill (Carl) of Apex; brother - Charleston Knight (Mildred) of Chicago, IL; twelve grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren; sisters-in-law - Arthetha Knight and Louise McLean; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The public viewings will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn and on Saturday, July 27, 2019, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Cedar Grove A.M.E. Zion Church, 260 Club Road, Lillington.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 2:00 pm, at Cedar Grove A.M.E. Zion Church, 260 Club Road. Lillington.

The burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Community Cemetery, Lillington.
