Johnny Mathis

Mr. Johnny Anthon (aka James Arthur) Mathis, 66, of  Fayetteville, passed away May 14, 2019.

Survivors: wife - Janis Patricia (Robinson) Mathis; children - Sabrena Montora Robinson of Charlotte, Carlin Rebecca Robinson of Hyattsville, MD, and John Owen Mathis (Leslie) of Wilmington; five grandchildren - Coyneilius Dante' Robinson and Darrett Savon Robinson-Timmons of Charlotte, Isis V. Graves Robinson, Malik A. Graves Robinson, and Asia M. Graves Robinson of Hyattsville, MD; three brothers - John Henry Mathis (Mary) of Decatur, GA, Ernest Mathis (Lucy) of Americus, GA, and Ulysses Mathis of Columbus, GA; sister - Mary Mathis of Americus, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends; his Spiritual Mom - Addie Dupree; best friend and confidant, Anthony Cameron.

Viewings will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 from 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3265 Cumberland Road, Fayetteville.

The burial will follow in the Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery, Fayetteville.
