Shirley M. Olds

Mrs. Shirley M. Olds, 75, of Fayetteville, passed away July 26, 2019. The family will receive friends at the home of Elder and Mrs. Allen and Amelia Sutton, 1225 Cullen Drive, Fayetteville. 

Survivors: husband - Marriott Olds; son - William "Jerry" Chance; daughters - Geraldine "Dee Dee" Burroughs, Costella "Candy" Porter (Jimmy); sisters - Amelia Burnett Sutton (Pastor Allen), Elizabeth B. Williams, Brenda Norman; brother - Elijah Burnett, Jr.; eleven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

The viewing will be held Friday, August 2, 2019 at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, with the family visitation from 1:30 pm - 2:00 pm.

The funeral service will be conducted Friday, August 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin. 

The burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
