Annie Maelene Chavis

Mrs. Annie Maelene Baggett Chavis, 66, of 903 East Edgerton Street, Dunn, passed away November 12, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband - Johnny Chavis; daughters - Latashia D. Baggett of Jacksonsville, NC., Melanie D. Chavis of the home; grand-daughters - Taj, La'ria, Shani; sister - Patsy E. Baggett of Godwin; uncle - Everrett Baggett of Godwin; sisters in-law - Delilas Baggett of Fayetteville, Elizabeth Baggett of Raleigh, Charlotte Baggett of Fayetteville, Kay Frances of Hope Mills; brothers in-law -  Herbert Chavis (Linda) of Raleigh, Donnie Chavis (Cookie) of High Point, Brace Chavis (Helen) of Texas; a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

The public viewing will be Friday, November 19, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Dunn, from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Masks are required for entrance.

The funeral service will be conducted Friday, November 19, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Dunn, with no more than 75 people present. Masks are required and practice social distancing.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn
