Mrs. Annie Bell Scurlock, 83, of 2609 Alabaster Court, Raleigh, formerly of Erwin, passed away August 31, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memories: children - Mary Tearry, Willie James Scurlock, Jr., and Cora Houston; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter; sisters - Ruby Haywood of Willow Spring and Jennie Mae Scriven of Angier; 2 paternal sisters - Denise Scriven Highsmith of Morrisville and Marjorie Scriven of Durham; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The viewing will be Monday, September 6, 2021 from 11:00 am - 12 Noon at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Angier. Masks are required to enter.
The funeral service will be conducted Monday, September 6, 2021 at 12 Noon at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Angier, with no more than 75 people allowed inside. Masks are required to enter.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
There will be no repast at the family’s house due to COVID-19.
