Bobby Carl Covington

Mr. Bobby Carl Covington, 60, of 5107 Titan Roberts Road, Erwin, passed away July 23, 2019. He was the son of the late Roosevelt and Lula McNeill Covington and graduated from Erwin High School in 1976.

Survivors: son - Rodney Hamilton of Fayetteville; daughters - Crystal K. Blue of Erwin, Sadie J. Covington of Fayetteville; sisters - Stella Evans (Garland) of Dunn, Alice Gill of Fayetteville, Linda Smith of Erwin, Gail Davis (Pastor Jerry) of Angier, Vicky Covington of Fayetteville; brothers - Roosevelt Covington, Jr. of Dunn, Charles Covington, Ricky Covington both of Erwin, Larry Covington (Twyla) of Clayton; three grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law; aunts - Yvonne Christian of Nashville, TN, Joann Johnson (Wally) of Hartford, CT; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The viewing will be held at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, Monday, July 29, 2019 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm and Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the Conference Headquarters from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Family visitation will be Tuesday at the Conference Headquarters from 1:30 pm - 2:00 pm.

The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm, at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, 25 Beaver Road, Erwin. 

The burial will follow in the Riverside Community Cemetery, Erwin.
