Ms. Catherine "Cat" Wilson, 71, of 630 East Johnson Street Apts. #111, Dunn, passed away January 4, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter - Carla Peterkin (James) of Angier; sisters - Dorothy Smith and Barbara Elliott of Dunn; brothers - James Byrd, Jr. (Barbara) of Stow, Ohio, Ernest Harris (Sarah) of Angier, Curtis Byrd of Dunn; aunts - Cora Cameron, Betsy Smith both of Erwin; grandchildren - Adriana Reid (Fred) of Durham, Terryn Simmons (Antoine) of Hampton, VA, James Peterkin ll of Seattle, WA, Jordan Peterkin of Los Angeles, CA, Joi Peterkin of Raleigh; two great grandchildren; a very special friend - Charles "Big" Peterson of Newburgh, NY; and a host of relatives and friends.

The public viewing will be Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Dunn, from 11:00 am - 12:45 pm, with no more than 10 individuals inside at one time. Masks are required and practice social distancing.

The funeral service will be conducted Thursday January 14, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Dunn, with no more than 50 people present. Masks are required and practice social distancing.
