Mr. Connie M. Currie, 79, of 139 Mack Road, Lillington, passed away August 20, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife of 23 years - Nora W. Currie of the home; 3 sons - Ronnie McNeill (Shirley) of Raeford, Daniel Currie of Lillington, Derrick White of Hope Mills; 5 daughters - Glenda McNeill of Lillington, Brenda McNeill (Melvin) of Oklahoma, Connie Frances Currie of Erwin, Donna Bell (Vernon) of Lillington, Tynesha White of Lillington; 2 sisters - Bessie Elliott of Linden, Pearlie Ray of Lillington; brother - Charles Currie (Ethel Mae) of Lillington; aunt - Margie McNeill of Lillington; 24 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren; 1 daughter-in-law - Annie McNeill of Charlotte; 2 sisters-in-law - Zillar Elliott and Angela White both of Lillington; 1 brother-in-law - William White, Jr. of Erwin; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The viewing will be Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home, Angier. Masks are required to enter.

The funeral service will be conducted Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Angier, with no more than 75 people allowed inside. Masks are required to enter.
