David McArthur, Sr.

Mr. David McArthur, Sr., 73, of 30 Dave Lane, Clinton, passed away May 18, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 54 years - Sue McArthur; son - David McArthur Jr.; granddaughter - Brittany of Dunn, Anthony McArthur (Crystal), grandsons - Anthony Jr., Devone’,  Cedric of Seattle, WA, Ricky McArthur of Raeford, grandchildren -  Micaiah and Kailen of Houston, TX;  LaShii Brown (Rogena),  granddaughters - Helen and Leideionche of Spokane, WA; David; daughters - Tina Bennett (Willie Bennett), grandson - Collin Bennett of Clinton, Larkita Demps (Benjamin),  grandchildren - Austin, Carson, and Jada of Seattle, WA;  brother - James McArthur (Vicki) of Wenatchee, WA; sister - Margie McNeil (Charles), of Valdosta,GA; 10 great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, church family, and friends.

The public viewing will be Friday, May 28, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm, with only 10 individuals inside at one time. Masks are required and practice social distancing.

The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Cape Fear A Conference Headquarters, Erwin, following the church's guidelines for entrance, capacity, and social distancing.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
