Mr. Debois S. Gathers, "Scotty", 70, of 505 East Branch Street, Benson, passed away December 30, 2020. The family will receive friends at 403 East Branch Street, Benson. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife - Judith Smith Gathers of Wilson; children - Randy Love of Richmond VA., Candy Love of Albrecht (Boyd) of Cary; 3 grandchildren; sisters - Selina Giles (Bobby), Janice Body, Stephanie Robinson, Alicia Gathers; brothers - James Gathers, Jr. (Clarry) of Four Oaks, Richard of La Place, LA., Eric Gathers; a host of loving nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
The viewing will be Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm with no more than 10 individuals inside at one time. Masks are required and practice social distancing.
The graveside service will be conducted Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn, with no more than 50 people present. Masks are required and practice social distancing.
