Elder Eartha P. Evans

Elder Eartha P. Evans, 94, of 223 Evans-Bryant Lane, Clinton, passed away May 31, 2019.

Survivors: daughters - Christine Williams of Dunn, Elizabeth Robinson of Newton Grove and Sarah Evans of Clinton; son - Terry Evans (Bontia) of Newton Grove; five sisters - Letha Best of Wilmington, Corina McLamb of Fayetteville, Virginia Currie of Dunn, Hartense Campbell of NY and Katie Thomas of Newton Grove; two brothers - Willie "Bill" Williams  of Dudley and Robert Williams of Spring Valley, New York; three sisters-in-law - Mary Bryant of Clinton, Maggie Williams of New York and Sarah Williams of St. Paul; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and forty-six great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The viewing will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019, at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at 1:00 pm at The Western Assembly Disciples of Christ Headquarters, 9766 U.S. Highway 701 South, Newton Grove.

The burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park, 3620 Roseboro Highway,  Clinton.
