Mrs. Gertrude Livingston, 87, of 607 East Broad Street, Dunn, passed away August 27, 2020. Gertrude was the daughter of the late James Henry Leggett, Sr. and Alice Bethea Leggett. She leaves to cherish her memories: her children - Frank Livingston (Patrice), Nancy Pegues, Allene Ferguson (Claude), Fred Livingston (Cleo), Coralene Livingston, Lynwood Livingston, Donald Livingston, Poarnabus Livingston (Zera) all of Dunn; siblings - Elizabeth Lloyd, Rev. James Leggett, Ella Mae Robinson all of Dunn, Daisy Jones of Greensboro; 20 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the Daffford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, with no more that 10 individuals at any one time.
A Graveside service will be Monday, August 31, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn, with no more than 50 people present.
Masks are required and practice social distancing.
