Helen McDougald

Mrs. Helen McDougald, 87, of 702 South Magnolia Avenue, Dunn, passed away June 2, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband - Henry Frank McDougald of Dunn; children - Connie Richardson (Paul) of Atlanta, GA., Annette Lloyd (John) of Richmond, VA., Paulette Brooks of Newport News, VA.; her eldest sister - Fannie Harrell of Hertford; her youngest brother - William Modlin (Peggy) of Elizabeth City; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; sister in-law - Cora Deal (Alfred) of El Pasco Texas; brother in-law - Willie McDougald (Antoinette) of Baltimore, MD.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many wonderful friends.

The public viewing will be Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm, and Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm,  with no more than 10 individuals inside at one time. Masks are required and practice social distancing.

The graveside service will be conducted Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 3:00 pm at the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn. Masks are highly recommended.
