Isaiah Raines

Mr. Isaiah Raines, 67, of 6204 Milford Road, Fayetteville, passed away May 6, 2019.

Survivors: wife - Eleanor Brunson Raines of the home; son - Isaiah Griffin of Fayetteville; daughter - Christie Raines Ashley (Michael) of Clinton; six grandchildren - Revyn K. Griffin (U.S. Air Force), Jasmyn I. Griffin of Florida, Xavier Griffin  and Isaiah J. Griffin both of Fayetteville, Brandon Bennett and Kelsie Bennett both of Clinton; brothers - Linwood Raines of Newark, New Jersey, Hezkiah Raines and Andrew Raines both of Clinton and Worner Raines of Dunn; sisters - Barbara Raines of New Jersey, Bertha R. Davis, Lula R. Newton and Alice R. Harris all of Clinton and Judy R. Royal of Godwin; a special daughter - Angela Cole of Fayetteville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The viewing will be held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm with the family visitation from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 am at Sampson Chapel Disciples of Christ Church, 9585 U.S. Hwy. 421 N., Clinton.

The burial will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Ft. Bragg.
