James Williams

Mr. James Williams, 80, of 82 Old Hickory Lane, Godwin, formerly of 275 Bailey Way Road, Lillington, passed away November 10, 2019. He was born February 3, 1939 to the late Colton and Mary McNeill Williams. In 1957, he married the late Vina Mae Williams.

The family is receiving visits at the home of his daughter & son-in-law, Kenneth & Deloris Williams, 82 Old Hickory Lane, Godwin.

Survivors: sons - James Williams, Pastor Walter Williams (Apostle Hazel) and Sherman Williams all of Godwin; daughters - Deloris Williams (Kenneth) of the home, Glaceria Williams, Yolanda Williams and Sabrina Williams (Patrick) all of Dunn; brother - David McNeill of Roseboro; twenty grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren; godson - Michael Williams (Maronda) of Bunnlevel.

The viewing will held on Friday, November 15, 2019, from 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, 707 E. Edgerton Street, Dunn.  The family will be present from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at 1:00 pm, at Union Hill Community Church, 4448 Strawpond School Road,  Dunn.

Burial will follow in the Union Hill Community Church Cemetery
