Joe F. McLean, Jr.

Mr. Joe F. McLean, Jr., 73, of 1188 NC 210 S, Lillington, passed away March 14, 2023. The family is respectfully requesting no visitations at the home.

He leaves behind to cherish precious memories of him:  his wife - Hester Guyton McLean;  two children - Donnell McLean, Sr. (Atosha) and Charmell (McLean) Kelly;  seven grandchildren - Ty-yonna Estabon (Sebastian), Joelle McLean, Donnell McLean, Jr., Trey Kelly, Chakane Kelly, Cion Kelly, and Shekinah Elle McLean;  his siblings - Michael L. McLean (Karen), Reuben L. McLean (Eva), Doris McLean Bates (Charles), Rebecca McLean Barber (William), Davey R. McLean, Henry D. McLean (Jessica), and Ruth McLean-Chapman (Elijah); numerous nieces , nephews, cousins, and friends.

Public viewing will be on Wednesday, March 22, 2022 from 10AM - 10:55AM at the Lillington Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church, Lillington.  The Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 AM.  Burial, with military honors, will follow in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Ft. Bragg.
