John "June" McDonald

Mr. John "June" McDonald, 75, of 133 Charcoal Lane, Angier, passed away March 12, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of fifty-nine years - Dorothy "Shug" McDonald; sons - Robert McDonald (Anne) of Lillington and Tony McDonald (Beulah) of the home; six grandchildren; sister - Leatha Barnes (Tyrone) of Washington, NC; aunts - Bessie Blue of Lillington and Betty Zimmitt of Virginia; three nieces; two nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The public viewing will be Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Dafford Funeral Home, Angier, with no more than 10 individuals inside at one time. Masks are required to enter and practicing social distancing.

The funeral service will be conducted Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 12 Noon at Macedonia Apostolic Church, Raleigh, with masks required to enter and following the church's guidelines for entrance and capacity.

Burial will follow in the Angier Community Cemetery, Angier.
