Mrs. Joyce Murphy Williams, 80, of 3759 Oak Grove Church Road, Newton Grove, passed away June 11, 2020. She leaves to cherish her memories: daughter - Dorothy Jean McLean of Newton Grove; son - James Williams of the home; special friend - Lloyd Elliott; sisters - Louise Smith, Tempie Bullock, Wilmia Murphy all of Newton Grove, Myrlin Murphy of Chapel Hill; brothers - John Murphy, Dewey Murphy of Newton Grove, Robert Murphy of Garner; several nieces and nephews.
A Viewing will be held Friday, June 19, 2020 at the Dafford Funeral Chapel, Dunn, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, with no more than 10 individuals inside at a time.
A Graveside Service will be conducted June 19, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the Littlefield M. B. Church Cemetery, Newton Grove, with no more than 50 people present. Masks are recommended and practice social distancing.
