Mrs. Julia Ann Carpenter-Poe, 63, of 405 S. 14th Street, Erwin, passed away October 1, 2021. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband - Troy Lee Poe of the home; children - Willie Earl Carpenter of Sumter, SC, Nichele Carpenter of Dunn, Adrienne Yolanda Carpenter of Newport News, VA; sister - Virginia Carpenter of Newport News, VA; 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
The public viewing will be Thursday, October 7, 2021 at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn, from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Masks are required to enter.
The funeral service will be conducted Friday, October 8, 2021 at 12:00 pm at the Spring Hill Free Will Baptist Church, Godwin, following the church’s guidelines for entrance, capacity, and social distancing. Masks are required.
Burial will be in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Bragg, on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 10:00 am.
