Lillie M. Chance

Ms. Lillie M. Chance, 73, of 8545 Candlebrush Dr., Linden, passed away April 1, 2023. 

The family will be receiving at the home of David and Jackie McDougald, 1723 Horseshoe Bend Road, Erwin.

Lillie leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters- Lou Ann Chance of Linden, NC and Jackie C. McDougald( David) of Erwin, NC; three grandchildren- Michael(Charissa), Leonard and Kenyatta; nine great-grandchildren; five sisters- Alma L. Spencer, and Evangelist Katie C. Ledbetter(Leroy) both of Linden, NC, Wendy Nelson(Sean), Arlepha Chance and Cynthia Chance all of Baltimore, MD; foster sister - Thelma Blue of Fayetteville, NC; foster brother- Ronnie Smith of Fuquay-Varina, NC; aunts- Minnie C. Smith and Virginia Chance both of Bunnlevel, NC, Beatrice Chance, Carrie McKeithan both of Fayetteville, NC and Betty L. Smith of Baltimore, MD; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be held at Dafford Funeral Home- Dunn, Saturday, April 8, 2023, from 2PM-3PM. MASKS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

Funeral Service will be held at Cape Fear Conference A, Erwin, Sunday, April 9, 2023 @ 2PM, following the guidelines of the facility for entrance and capacity.

Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
