Ms. Lillie I. Warren, 71, of 407 N. 14th Street, Erwin, passed away July 6, 2021. The family will receive friends at the home of her sister, Flora Jean Stinney, 304 East Moon Circle, Dunn, daily from 12Noon - 7PM. Please wear mask.
She graduated from Dunn High in 1968, and she absolutely adored her classmates and being a part of their class reunion committee. She worked at Bonders Sewing Factory for many years before its closing. She loved spending time with and cooking for her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one son - Thomas Warren III (Tisha) of Salisbury; one daughter - Toeyna Monds (Roddy) of Bunnlevel; one sister - Flora Jean Stinney of Dunn; brothers - Samuel Stinney of Fayetteville, Marvin Stinney (Kathy) of Alabama, and Myles Stinney (Alice) of Godwin; four grandchildren - Terrill and Tyquan Ray, Thomas Jr. and Tarnesha Warren; two great grandchildren - Taylor and Ivy Ray; close friend - Gwen Bethea; special cousins - Lula, Betty, Lena and Audrey.
The public viewing will be Monday, July 12, 2021 from 1PM - 5PM at the Dafford Funeral Home, Dunn. Masks are required for entrance.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 1PM at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Dunn. Masks are required for entrance, and no more than 75 people present.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
